Snow, Lorenzo, 1814-1901

Lorenzo Snow was born 3 April 1814 in Mantua, Ohio. After being baptized a member of the Church, he served a mission in Ohio and the Eastern States. He was ordained to the office of Seventy in 1840. He served as President of the United Order in Brigham City from 1874-1886. He was ordained an apostle in 1849, after which he served missions to England and Europe. He succeeded President Wilford Woodruff, becoming the fifth President of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints 13 September, 1...
